Police Special Task Force Personal Arrested A Female With Kerala Cannabis And Narcotic Tablets

Police Special task force  personal have areested a
female with 08 grammes of Kerala Cannabis and 30 narcotic tablets in her possession in gallawatte,Ja Ela area.

The suspected female had been handed over to the Ja Ela police for further investigations.

A Younger Brother Killed His Elder Brother Over A Land Dispute

A younger brother stabbed his elder brother with a sharp object and
killed him last night (18) due to an argument occurred between them regarding a land dispute in Masimbula area ,Rakwana according to the Police.

The suspect had been identified as a 76 year old resident of Masimbula area.

Police have arrested the assassin regarding the killing of his brother.

Around 48 Teanagers Arrested While Involved In An Obscene Behaviour In Cinema Halls

Child and women's bureau officials
attached to Gampaha division arrested around 48 teanage girls and boys while involved in an obscene behaviour in Cinema halls at Gampaha during a raid carried out .

The arrested teanagers later handed over to their parents .

These teanagers went to Cinema by lieing  their parents that they were  attending  private tuition classes .

Sixteen Persons Injured And Hospitalized After A Van They Were In Fallen A Precipice

Sixteen persons were injured and Hospitalized after a van they were
travelling in fallen a 50 feet deep precipice in Awissawella (Colombo) area yesterday (18).

The injured including eight females ,six males and two children were admitted to the Awissawella Hospital for treatment.

The accident had occurred as a result of the driver of the van carried a group of persons to a funeral house in dehiowita area ,fallen a sleep and unable to control the vehicle according to the police.
