Sixteen Persons Injured And Hospitalized After A Van They Were In Fallen A Precipice
Sixteen persons were injured and Hospitalized after a van they were
travelling in fallen a 50 feet deep precipice in Awissawella (Colombo) area yesterday (18).
The injured including eight females ,six males and two children were admitted to the Awissawella Hospital for treatment.
The accident had occurred as a result of the driver of the van carried a group of persons to a funeral house in dehiowita area ,fallen a sleep and unable to control the vehicle according to the police.

During the search operations teams had recovered a 81 mili meter motar bomb from the area according to the Sri Lanka Army.
