An Infant Was Killed And Four Others Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Three Wheeler -Lorry Collision In Padukke
An infant aged around one year was killed and four other including two small children were injured and hospitalized this morning(14) due to Three Wheeler-Lorry Collision occurred in Angampitiya area on Padukke,Meepe-Ingiriya road .
The injured including two small children,a female and the Three Wheeler driver had been admitted to the Homagama Base Hospital for treatment.
Padukke Police have arrested the Lorry driver regarding the accident.

Eleven Persons Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Bus Accident
Eleven Persons including seven females were injured and hospitalized after the Private Bus they were traveling in veering off the road and toppled over on Kegalle-Bulathkohupitiya main road in the wee hours of this morning(14).
The injured were admitted Undugoda Hospital for treatment. A critically injured person was later transferred to the Kegalle Hospital it has been reported.
The Bus transported garment factory workers to a garment factory in Awissawella Industrial Zone faced this accident due to a technical fault it has been revealed.
Police have arrested the Bus Driver regarding the accident.

Acting Director General Of Health Services Dr.Jayasundara Bandara Appointed A Committee To Probe On A Death Of A Dengue Infected Preganant Female
Acting Director General Of Health Services Dr.Jayasundara Bandara had appointed a three member committee to probe on the controversial death of a five month pregnant female who died while receiving treatment for Dengue in South Colombo (Kalubowila)Teaching Hospital .
The Committee has been appointed after the relatives of the deceased female accused that some of the doctors in the hospital have responsible for her death.
Acting Director General Of Health Services has instructed the Committee to conclude the inquiry within a short period of time and hand over the report to him.
