Police Arrested A Female Carried 10 Grammes Of Cannabis To The Hulftsdorf Court
Police officers had today (09)arrested a female who carried 10 grammes of
Cannabis to the Colombo Hulftsdorf Magistrate Court by folding it in a tobacco leaf .
After being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate the suspected female has been remanded until 27 th of this month .

A 57 year old female was killed and four others including two children
were injured and hospitalized after a three wheeler they were travelling in veered off the A-9 road in Vavuniya-Omanthai area (North) early this morning (09).
The deceased had been identified as a resident of Pamankada,Colombo.

Kayts Police have recovered around 52 Kilo Grammes of Kerala Cannabis believed to be smuggled from India though a boat and released to the sea , washed ashore to Nagadeepa(North) this morning(09).
The recovered haul of Kerala Cannabis concealed in fertilizer bags according to the Police.
The value of the recovered haul of Kerala Cannabis estimated as over Rs.6 million .Kayts Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.
