A 31 Year Old Pregnant Female Was Killed Due To Motor Car Accident In Bandarawela

A 31 year old pregnant mother was killed and her two year old daughter
escaped without any injuries after the Motor Car the Mother drove fallen down a 200 feet deep precipice in aththalapitiya ,Bandarawela this morning (05).

The Car fallen down the precipice when the deceased attempted to park it on a slab in a multi storied house it has been revealed.

The deceased female had been identified as a resident of helamuduna ,Bandarawela.Her two year old daughter who was in the vehicle at the time of the accident escaped unharmed.

Main Suspect Who Brought Firearms Illegally To The Mount Lavinia Court Arrested

A special Police Team yesterday
(04)arrested the main suspect who brought two firearms illegally to the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court last Wednesday (01) in wallawatta area.

The Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court granted permission to Police to question the  suspect Vidangama Rangana allias Mayya for seven days after being produced before the court yesterday .

Three Persons Were Killed And Five Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Van-Bus Collision

Three persons were killed and five others  were injured and hospitalized
due to a head on collision occurred between a Van and a Bus near the Amrithigala Temple in Thalduwa,Ruwanwella last evening (04).

The injured were admitted to Awissawella Hospital for the treetment.A critically injured female had been transferred to Colombo National hospital for further treatment .

The Van driver and the two females in the Van were killed due to the accident and they had been identified as residents of  Yakkala area.

Bus driver was arrested regarding the accident according to the Police.

Around 41 Persons Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Bus - Lorry Collision

Around 41 persons were injured and
hospitalized after two buses and a lorry colliding with each other near mahagalkadawela junction on Anuradhapura-Padeniya  road today(04) .

The injured were admitted to the galgamuwa hospital for treatment  and six who are critically injured had been transferred  to Anuradhapura and Kegalle Hospitals .

Sri Lanka Transport Board bus ,A bus transported garment factory workers and a lorry involved in the accident .

Police have arrested the driver of the Bus transported garment factory workers  and the lorry driver regarding the accident.
