Police Have Arrested Three Persons With A Stock Of Kerala Cannabis

Police have arrested three persons with

18  kilo grammes of Kerala Cannabis in their possession in Kattakulam sea coastal area at Valvatithurai(North) in the wee hours of this morning.

The suspects are due to produce before the Point Pedro Magistrate Court today(11).

CEO Of ,SAITM Left For Russia Yesterday (10)

The Chief executive officer(CEO) of the Private Medical Collage(SAITM)

,Malabe Sameera Senaratne  who have faced a gun shooting incident early this week had left for Russia last morning (10)according to the Police.

An unidentified gunman shot at the car of CEO of the Private Medical Collage in Malabe last Monday(06) however he escaped from the incident unharmed .

Meanwhile Police have taken into  custody  the cloths wore by CEO Sameera Senaratne at the time of the incident  for an investigations .

Body Of A Youth Who Had Fallen From Sri Lanka's Tallest Water-Fall Bambarakanda ,Recovered

Police along with the residents of Haputhale area had

recovered the body of the youth who died after falling from the Sri Lanka's tallest water-fall "Bambarakanda"water-fall (263 meter high)this morning (10) .

The 21 year old who is a  resident of Bandarawela area had gone to see the water-fall located in Haputhale with his friends in Homagama area it has been reported.

The police and the residents of the area brought the body of the youth which had stuck in the lower section of the water-fall this evening.
