Several Places And Roads Have Submerged Following The Heavy Showers Fallen In Galle
Several places and subways in Galle District(Southern province) have been submerged following the heavy showers.
Heavy showers had been reported from several districts in the country during last few days according to reports.
According to the met department the adverse weather condition prevailing in the country at present will subside from tomorrow (31).

Ministry Of Health To Cancel Current Licences Of "SPA's In The Country And Re Issue Formal Licences

Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has decided to cancel all the licenses issued to the Massage Centers(SPA's)at present and re issue formal licenses to these centers this year to avoid the functioning of Brothel Houses under the name of Panchakarma Ayurveda Massage Centers.
This step will be taken after considering complaints received from the Public and Police regarding the quality of Massage Centers in the country the Ministry of Health has stated.
A large number of complaints had been received from general public,Ayurveda Practitioners and Police regarding the quality of these Massage Centers and the way the name Ayurveda used illegally by these Centers to describe it's services the Ministry has stressed.

Around Fifteen Passengers Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Road Accident
Around fifteen passengers got injured and
hospitalized following a bus they were travelling in veering and toppling over at Inamaluwa area on Dambulla-Habarana main road in the wee hours of today (30).
The injured were admitted to the Dambulla and Habarana Hospitals for treatment.
The bus was heading to Kandy from Polonnaruwa at the time of the accident.

Eight Persons Including Six Kiwi Nationals Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Van-Motor Car Collision
Eight persons including six New Zealand nationals were injured and hospitalized in wee hours of this morning(30) due to a Van-Motor Car collision occurred at Nittambuwa-Kalalpitiya area on Colombo-Kandy main road.
The injured had been admitted to the Wathupitiwala Hospital for treatment.Three females are there among the injured it has been revealed.
