Fifteen Were Injured And Hospitalized After The Bus They Were In Fallen A Precipice
Fifteen persons including thirteen female garment factory workers were injured and hospitalized following the bus they were traveling in fallen a precipice in Akkarawatte area on Kandy-Kurunagala main road.
The injured were admitted to the Galagedera Hospital for treatment.

Bribery Commission Officials Have Arrested A Deputy Principal And Two Teachers For Accepting A Bribe
Bribery Commission officials have today (23)arrested
a female deputy Principal and two teachers attached to a school in Akurana,Kandy for accepting Rs.7500 as a bribe to admit a child to grade five in the school.
The deputy principal and two teachers were arrested after the parents of the children informed the incident to Bribery Commission.
The suspects have taken Rs.7500 each from parents to admit every student of the grade five class it has been revealed.
