Southern Coastal Line Train Services Have Disrupted Due To a Derailed Train
Due to a derailment of a fuel transport train traveling from Galle to Colombo near the Galle Railway Station ,the train services of the Southern Coastal Line have been disrupted this morning (19) according to the Railway Control Room.
Accordingly Train arriving Colombo from Galle and Matara has delayed due to this situation the control room has stated.Authorities have taken steps to move the derailed Train from the rail track.

A Person Was Arrested With A Stock Of Waste Tea In Gampola
Gampola Police Special Task Force Officers have arrested a person with 6863 Kilo Grammes of waste tea in his possession near the Clock Tower on Gampola-Kandy road(Central Province).
The suspect was arrested while transporting the stock of waste tea and he was later handed over to the Gampola Police for further investigations.

Cabinet Approved A Proposal To Take over The Land In Iranawila Which Lease Out To Set Up A Voice Of America Transmission Station
Cabinet has approved a proposal to terminate a
6leasing agreement has with the American Embassy here over lease out a 166 hectares of land in Iranawila,Puttalam (North Western Province) to set up a transmission station of Voice Of America (VOA)radio channal , and take over the land to the government.
Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has submitted the Cabinet Proposal regarding terminating the lease agreement.
The American Embassy in Sri Lanka had already informed the Sri Lankan government that the Embassy will hand over the land and other assets taken to set up the VOA transmission station in Iranawila in 1991 before expiration of the lease agreement it has been reported,
