Water Board Only Able To Supply Drinking Water For Two Month Period?

The national water supplies and drainage board has today (14) stated that the board only able to supply drinking water to the country for two month period as the water reserves in the country are drying up as a result of the dry weather prevailing in the country at present.

If a drinking water supply problem occur in the country in future ,Water board will impose water cuts in selected areas throughout the island the Board  has stressed.

while bathing in Hikkaduwa seas(Southern Province) on last Thursday (12) has died today(14)while receiving treatment at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.

The deceased caught the sea waves while bathing with few other Pakistani Nationals in Hikkaduwa seas.

A 41 Year Old Motor Cyclist Was Killed Due To An Accident In Badulla

A 41 year old Motor Cyclist was killed when the Motor

Cycle he was riding  in veered off the road and fallen to a roof of a house situated down a precipice today (14) at imbulgoda in Badulla distrct.

The critically injured Motor Cyclist succumbed to his injuries after admission to Badulla General Hospital.

The deceased has been identified as a resident in Rock hills,Badulla.
