A Youth Drowned In Bulathwatte River At Haputhale

A youth was drowned while bathing in Bulathwatte

River at Haputhale (Upcountry) yesterday (02) according to the Police,

Sri Lanka Navy divers are due to launch a search operation today (03)to find out
the drowned youth.

Colombo -Galle Night Mail Train Has Been Restricted To Ambalangoda

The night mail train travelling from Colombo Fort to
Galle has been restricted to Ambalangoda area due to a derailment of another train according to the Sri Lanka Railways Department.

The situation has occurred after the train "Sagarika' which travelling from Colombo Fort to Galle had derailed between  Ambalangoda and Galle  it has been reported.

Around 159 Persons Avoiding Court Orders Arrested At Anuradhapura Police Area

Anuradhapura Police have today (02) arrested 159
persons who had received warrents and avoiding court orders at Anuradhapura police area (North Central Province).

Out of the arrested suspects 54 were suspects wanted for serious crimes the Anuradhapura Police have stated.

A Fire Has Erupted At A Factory In Panadura

Fire Brigade attached to  Kaluthara Municipal Council
and residents in the area have doused a fire erupted in an Air Conditioner Manufacturing Plant at Panadura (Colombo) today (02).

The fire had erupted around 1.30 p.m according to Panadura Police.The value of the damage done to the plant has not yet been estimated.
