Five Pilgrims Have Gone Missing At Hamilton Forest Reserve In Sri Pada
Five pilgrims including two females have gone missing
after entering the Hamilton forest reserve based in Sri pada premises yesterday (12) evening according to the Nallathanniya Police.
Out of the five persons who have gone missing, four are residents of Nugegoda (Colombo) and other is an estate worker attached to Lakshapana Estate the Police have stated.
The five missing pilgrims were entered the Hamilton forest reserve through upper division of the Lakshapana estate in Nallathanniya area it has been revealed.
Nallathanniya Police officers had launched a joint search operation with Laxapana army camp officers to find the five missing pilgrims.

Navy Lieutenant Had Drowned In Kala Oya While Bathing
A Navy Lieutenant attached to Mulkulam Naval Base
in Puttalam (North Western Province) had drowned in Kala Oya (River) yesterday (12)while bathing there with few other Navy Officers.
The body of the deceased Naval Officer Sunimal Deepthi Kumara (42)of Kandana had sent to Puttalam Base Hospital for post mortem.
The deceased officer had arrived at a site near Kala Oya in Eluwankulama at Puttalam yesterday (12) evening to attend a party and during the party the deceased and few other fellow officers went to Kala oya for bathing it has been revealed.

The first Sri Lankan Airlines flight to Chennai ,India had left this morning from Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport to Chennai International Airport after yesterday's flight suspension due to cyclone "Vardha' .
The Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL-129 had left Chennai this morning at 11.26 a.m although it earlier scheduled to leave at 7.20 a.m from the Katunayake Airport .The flight left after received clearance from Chennai International Airport it has been announced.
Sri Lankan Airlines yesterday announced a temporary cancellation of it's flights to Chennai following the cyclone "Vardha' hit Tamil Nadu.

Country can save more money spending to import western drugs to the country when 22 foreign drug companies begin manufacturing western drugs here through the manufacturing plants established in the country the Ministry has stated.
Around 22 foreign drug companies have signed agreements with the Health Ministry to begin manufacturing of western drugs locally.
