Seven Females And A Male Doctor Arrested At A Brothel House In Colombo
Seven females of the ages of 18-28 years and a male
doctor were arrested by the Nugegoda Police yesterday (11) at a Brothel House run as a massage center (SPA) in a luxury house at Pelawatte (Colombo).
The arrested females are identified as residents of Galle,Matara(Southern),Balangoda(Ratnapura),Gampaha and mathugama (Western Province) areas according to Police.

Construction Work Of Wlorld's Tallest Christmas Tree Has Resumed As Per The Instructions Of Prime Minister
The construction work of the World's tallest Christmas
Tree at Galle Face Green of which the work stalled last week, has resumed again today (12) as per the instructions of Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe.
Prime Minister Wikramasinghe and Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake met the Chief Archbishop in Colombo ,Cardinal Malcolm Ranjih on Sunday (11)and informed him that the tallest Christmas Tree is being build with foreign donations.
After the meeting Prime Minister is reported as instructed the Minister of Ports and Shipping Arjuna Ranathunge to resume the work of Christmas Tree.
The building of the tree stopped after finishing half of it ,as Cardinal Ranjith appealed the authorities to utilize the funds using to build the Christmas Tree for the poor.

"Cyclonic Storm 'Vardha" May Caused Local Seas Rough Time To Time- Met Department
Although Sri Lanka is not directly affected by severe
cyclonic storm "Vardha"which is due to enter a city "Pulikat" near Chennai India at a speed of 100 miles per hour ,local sea coasts from Mannar to Trincomalee via Kankasanthurai will become very rough from time to time meteorology Department had warned.
The wind speed can be increased up to 70 to 80 kilo meters per hour it has been reported.
The storm in Bay of Bengal due to move away from Sri Lanka towards Tamil Nadu .

Sri Lankan Airlines Cancelled All Chennai Bound Flights Temporarily
Due to the Cyclonic Storm "Vardha' which hit some areas in Tamil Nadu state including Chennai, all Chennai Bound Sri Lankan Airlines flights had been cancelled temporarily with effect from today(12) according to Sri Lankan Airlines.
Accordingly Chennai Bound Sri Lankan Airlines flights UL-121,UL-123,UL-127 and UL-129 had been cancelled and passengers who are flying Chennai are advised to contact Sri Lankan Airlines to find out new time tables of Chennai Bound Sri Lankan Airlines flights .
The Deputy Sri Lankan High Commission in Chennai has stated that additional planes would be used to transport passengers soon after the storm moves away from Chennai..
