Four Persons Involved In Steeling Properties Had Been Arrested At Kaluthara
The Police Officers have also taken in to custody few national identity cards,A gold chain and a Three Wheeler which used to steel properties in possession of the suspects it has been reported.The suspects are identified as residents of Payagala and Kauthara areas and they are due to be produced before the Kaluthra Magistrate Court.
Anuradhapura Magistarte Court Has Released A Female Who Appeared In The Society As A Fake Sub Inspector
The suspected female who is a resident in Galle(Southern Province) was arrested by the officers of Special Crimes Investigations Unit attached to Anuradahapura Police and later released on bail.However the Crimes Investigations Unit of Anuradhapura Police had filed a court case at Anuradhapura Magistrate Court.
As the authorities not able to prove the charge against the suspected female Anuradhapura Magistrate has today acquits her from the charge.

Attorney General Has Withdrawn Indictment Against Former Minister Basil Rajapakshe
Attorney
General has today(06)withdrawn indictment served on former Minister Of Economic Development Basil Rajapakshe on misappropriation of state funds worth Rs.29 million belonging to Divi Naguma Department to print 5 million almanacs during previous government.
After Attorney General 's decision the Colombo High Court has acquitted the former minister Rajapakshe of the charges and lifted the Foreign travel ban imposed on him.
Former Minister Basil Rajapakshe was remanded for the same allegation previously too.
On that occasion soon after he was ordered to remand by the court he had complained of a chest pain and as a result admitted to the merchant ward of Colombo National Hospital where he served his full imprisonment.
However soon after he was granted bail for the charges former minister Rajapakshe shown that he recovered from his illness and walked away from the courts comfortably.
