A Sudden Fire Erupted In Beragala Mountain Had Destroyed Several Acres Of Land
A sudden fire has been erupted in top of the Beragala Mountain at Haputhale Area (In the Up Country ) today (09) according to the Haputhale Police.A several acres of land belonging to the Beragala Mountain had been reported as destroyed due to the fire and fire fighters are not able to reach the area to douse fire as the fire is spreading in top of the mountain it has been reported.
A 36 Hour Long Water Cut To Be Implemented In Kandy From Tonight
A 36 hour water cut is scheduled to be implemented at several areas in Kandy District from 9 p.m tonight to 9 a.m on Tuesday (11)morning according to the National Water Supply And Drainage Board.Accordingly the water cut will be implemented in Kandy,Kundasale,Akurana,Harispaththuwa,Pathadumbara,Amunugama and Sirimalwatte areas the Board has announced.
A Chinese Female Has Died After Falling From A Train At Ambalangoda
A 25 year old Chinese Female has died following the serious injuries receieved by her after falling from the footboard of a Train in which she was travelling at Ambalangoda Rail Way Station this afternoon.The Chinese female who was travelling on the footboard of the Train travelling from Ambalangoda to Madampagoda was crtically injured and succumbed to her injuries after been struck between Train footboard and Railway Platform following her fall it has been reported.
The body of the deceased has been sent to Ambalangoda Hospital for the post mortem.
