A 11 Year Old Girl Had Been Committed Suicide In Madulsima Area
A 11 year old girl in Madulsima area(Uva Province) had been committed suicide by hanging herself according to the Police.
The cause behind the suicide has not yet been revealed the Police have stated.
The body of the deceased had sent to Matigahatanne Hospital for the post mortem.MadulSima Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.

World Health Organization Again Appealed From South East Asian Countries To Prevent Spreading Of Zika In Their Countries
The World Health Organization (WHO) has yesterday (03) again appealed from the South East Asian Regional Countries including Sri Lanka to adapt strong measures to prevent,detect and respond to the spreading of Zika Virus Infection in their countries as Zika Virus related two infants were found from Thailand who are suffering from "Microsephaly"(with small heads) condition.
The South East Asian Countries should strengthen their mosquito control programmes in view of preventing the spreading of Zika Virus Infection in their countries and steps should be taken to prevent pregnant mothers from exposing to Zika Virus as the virus infection caused severe threat to the health and well being of pregnant mothers and their unborn children the WHO has stated.
Sri Lanka's Health Ministry has appealed from Sri Lankan Pregnant Mothers recently to avoid traveling Zika Infected countries as a precautionary measure.
Court Given A Permission To CID To Investigate On Missing Body Parts of Wasim Thajudeen
Colombo Magistrate Court has yesterday(03) given a permission to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to carry out Investigations at the Malabe Private Medical Collage to find out the missing body parts of murdered former Rugby Player Wasim Thajudeen.
The former Chief Judicial Medical officer(JMO) in Colombo Professor Ananda Samarasekera who is now the vice chancellor of Private Medical Collage is believed to have transported the body organs of former Rugby player to the Private Medical Collage in Malabe.
Earlier the anticipatory bail application filed by former Colombo JMO Professor Samarasekera had been rejected by the Court .

Two Proposed Bills Related To Buddhism To Be Approved By Maha Sangha Before Presented To Parliament
The proposed "Theravada Bhikku Dialogue " and "Buddhist Temporaries Ordinance (Vihara Gam Devala Act)Bills will not be presented to the Parliament until received approval from the Maha Sangha according to the Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala.
This decision has been taken during the Party Leaders meeting held this morning the Deputy Speaker has stated.
