Around Fifteen Sri Lankan Female Workers Employed In Kuwait Returned To The Island Due To Harrasments They Have Faced
Around fifteen female workers who went for foreign employment in Kuwait had returned to the island yesterday (20) due to the various harassments they have faced in their work places.

Matara Magistrate Court Has Passed Capital Punishment For Two Brothers in The Same Family
The Matara Magistrate Court has today (20) passed the death sentence for two brothers in the same family who lives in Akuressa area over a killing of a resident of Akuressa area in 2006.
Both suspects were indicted by the Matara Magistrate Court over the crime they have committed in 2006.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Has Further Remanded The Seven Indian Nationals Detained Over An Intetnational ,Kidney Racket
The Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya has today (20) ordered the authorities to further remand the seven Indian Nationals who had been detained in connection with their alleged involvement in an International Kidney Racket operated between Sri Lanka and India, until 03rd of August.
The Colombo Crimes Division which is investigating the alleged Kidney Racket had informed the Colombo chief Magistrate when the case was taken into consideration today that they need some official documents regarding kidney surgeries performed here from the Ministry of Health and the Division has already written to the Ministry to provide the relevant documents for investigations.

Two Suspects Detained Over The Rugby Player Thajudeen's Murder Have Been Further Remanded
The imprisoned two suspects of the former Sri Lankan Rugby Player Wasim Thajudeen's murder case ,the former Deputy Director General of Health Services (DIG) Anura Senanayake and former crimes OIC of Narahenpita Police Sumith Perera have been further remanded until 03rd of August by the Colombo Magistrate today (20).
