No Reports On Sri Lankans Among Those Affected Due To Yesterday's Terrorist Attack In France-Sri Lanka's Foreign Ministry
The Sri Lanka's Foreign Ministry has today(15) says that still there are no reports on any Sri Lankan National being affected due to the yesterday's(14) brutal terrorist attack in French City "Nice" which killed more than 80 persons including Children.
Sri Lankan Embassy in France is keeping in touch with local authorities since the attack to find about if there are any Sri Lankan affected due to the terrorist attack which st rucked towards the crowd who were watching the Bastille Day fire works in the City of Nice the Foreign Ministry has stated.
Around 20 persons were reported as critically injured due to the terrorist attack.

Walana Police Have Detained Five Persons With Eighteen Kilo Grammes Of Kerala Canabies
The officers attached to anti corruption unit of the Walana Police in Pandura have detained five persons with 18 kilo grammes of Kerala canabies in their possession during a raid carriedout in the area.
The officers have believed that the detained stock of kerala canabies transported to Sri Lanka from India through boats.
The anti corruption unit of the Walana Police had managed to reveal the details of an Indian Businessman who was involved in the drug racket.The walana police are conducting further investigations on the detainees.

Ministry Of HealthTo Instruct Tobacco Companies To Keep Whole Space Of Ciggaratte Cartons Free
The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indeginous Medicine has decided to insruct all tobacco companies here to keep whole rtospace of the Cigarrette Cartons free from details except publishing the brand name of a cigarrette in view of deterring people from addiction to smoking according to Minister Of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.
Accordingly new amendments will be made in this regard to the Tobacco and Alcohol Authority Act the Minister has stated during a press briefing conducted by Health Ministry at Government Information Department in Narahenpita today (14).
At present 80% of the space in ciggarette cartons manufactured here contains picture health messages related to non communicable diseases caused due to
smoking.
The Ministry Of Health has also decided to increase the tax rate of 72% imposed on ciggarrettes to 90% Minister Dr.Senaratne.
