Former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe To Appear Before Presidential Commission On Serious Fraud Tomorrow(09)
The former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe is due to be appeared before Presidential Commission To Investigate and Inquire Into Serious Acts Of Fraud,Corruption And Abuse Of Power,State Resources And Privileges tomorrow(09)to record a statement regarding two allegations leveled against him including illegally recruiting two Sri Lankan Naval Security Officers for the security activities of his brother Basil Rajapakshe's House based in United Stated Of America(USA) during the previous regime.
The second allegation leveled against former Defense Secretary is misusing Air Crafts belonging to Sri Lanka Air Force.
The former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe who is also the brother of former president Mahinda Rajapskhe was due to appear before the Presidential Commission on 18th of April to give a statement regarding these allegations .However through his lawyers the former defense secretary has informed the Commission that he was not able to be there on that date and give another date for the statement.
After considering the facts produced the Presidential Commission on Serious Fraud has requested the former defense secretary to appear before the commission tomorrow.

Italian Police Arrested Ten Sri Lankans Who Worked At An Industrial Building Without Proper Documents
Italian Police have arrested Ten Sri Lankans including two females who worked at an Industrial Building at Monza in Italy without proper documents according to Italian Media Reports.
The arrested Sri Lankans were residing in a Shed and did not have a resident permit it has been revealed.Italian Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.

Two Youth Were Killed Due To Colliding With A Postal Train In Jaffna
Two youth were killed after colliding with a Postal Train travelling from Colombo to Jaffna early yesterday morning at Kondavil in Jaffna Area (In Northern Province)it has been reported.
The deceased youth who were in the ages of 18 and 20 had been run over by the Train while sleeping on the Rail Track according to sources.
