Two Youth Were Killed Due To Colliding With A Postal Train In Jaffna
Two youth were killed after colliding with a Postal Train travelling from Colombo to Jaffna early yesterday morning at Kondavil in Jaffna Area (In Northern Province)it has been reported.
The deceased youth who were in the ages of 18 and 20 had been run over by the Train while sleeping on the Rail Track according to sources.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaskhe Has Re Appointed SLFP MP Salinda Dissanayake As Hiriyala Party Organizer After Being Removed By President Maithripala Sirisena
As a part of a yet another political drama MP Salinda Dissanyake who was removed from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party's(SLFP)Hiriyala Organizer post by President Maithripala Sirisena recently has been reinstated in the post by former president Mahinda Rajapakshe yesterday(07).
President Maithripala Sirisena as the chairman of Sri Lanka Freedom Party(SLFP) has removed MP Salinda Dissanayake from Hiriyala SLFP Organizer Post on 28th of April and appointed Don Kamal Indika as the new organizer .
However acted against the SLFP Leadership's decision the Hiriyala Sri Lanka Freedom Party branch has met under the patronage of former president Mahinda Rajapakshe yesterday and re appointed Salinda Dissanayake as the SLFP Organizer it has been reported.
USA Government Has Lifted The Licensing Restrictions On Defense Exports Imposed Against Sri Lanka
The United States Government has eased the long standing military restrictions imposed against Sri Lanka by lifting the licensing restrictions on defense exports to Sri Lanka from 04th of May it has been reported.
According to the directorate of defense trade controls of the United States State Department ,USA will now review license applications received from Sri Lanka on a case by case basis,
United States has imposed sanctions on defense exports to Sri Lanka during the civil war prevailed in north and east of the country from early 1980's to 2009 .
