Fire Had Broken Out At Moratuwa University Lab

A Fire had broken out this evening in a Laboratory of  University Of Moratuwa according to Police.The Fire Brigade which arrived at the scene had managed to douse the fire.

The fire had caused extensive  damage to the laboratory it has been reported.

The cause for the fire and value of the damage are not yet revealed.  .

Earlier the former Crimes OIC  of  Narahenpita Police Sumith Perera was detained over allegedly hiding the evidence of Thajudeen's Murder.

Train Service From Galle To Matara Has Temporarily Suspended

Due to a renovation work of a bridge between Unawatuna and Katugoda Railway Stations ,Train Service from Galle to Matara (In Southern Province)has been temporarily suspended with effect from 10 p.m this Friday(06) according to Sri Lanka Railways Department.

Afrer the  renovation work the train service between Galle and Matara is scheuled to be resumed at 3 a.m on 09th of May it has been reported.
