Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Motorcycle-Private Bus Collision In Valachchanai Area

 A 54 year old Person has died  due to a Motorcycle -Private Bus collision occurred at Valachchanai Area(In Eastern Province) yesterday (30)according to the Police.

The Motorcyclist has died due to the accident after getting admitted to the Valachchanai Hospital with critical injuries the Police have stated.

The  Private Bus Driver  was detained over the accident  it has been reported.

Around 5000 Police Officers Have Been Deployed For Provide Security And Handle Traffic During May Day Activities

Image result for police sri lankaAround 5000 Police Officers have been deployed in the country to provide  security  and handling traffic during May Day Celebrations scheduled to be held today(01) in Colombo and other Cities according to the Police.

Out of this 3100 Police Officers have been deployed to provide security for May Day Rallies and Parades and another 1900 Police Officers have been deployed to handle traffic during the May Day Parades .

A Special Traffic Plan Due To Be Implemented Regarding May Day Celebrations Tomorrow(01)

Image result for traffic plan for may day in colomboA Special Traffic Plan is due to be implemented in and around the cities where May Day Rallies and Parades will be held tomorrow (01) from 9 a.m to 5 p.m according to the Police.

Accordingly several main roads including Baseline Road from Dematagoda Junction to Borella Junction and Narahenpita Junction to High Leval Road will be closed from 1 p.m to 6 p.m ,Pradeepa Mawatha in Maligawatta will be closed from Jumma Masjid Junction to Sangaraja Roundabout from 9 a.m to 5 p.m ,High level Road near Dickmen's  Road and Havlock Road will be closed from 2 p.m to 6 p.m and Saranankara Road will be closed from 1 p.m to 4 p.m due to May Day Rallies and Parades.

Several other roads out side Colombo City too due to be closed due to the May Day Celebrations according to Police.
