Swedish Foreign Minister To Arrive In Sri Lanka Tomorrow (24) For A Three Day State Visit
The Minister Of Foreign Affairs In Sweden Margot Elisabeth Wallstrom is due to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow(24) for a three day official visit according to the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs.
During her visit to the Island from 24-26 th of April is due to meet President Maithripala Sirisena ,Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe and Parliamentary Speaker Karu Jayasuriya .
Foreign Minister Wallstrom who is also the deputy prime minister in Sweden is scheduled to hold bi lateral discussions with Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera on Monday(25).
A seven member Trade Delegation comprising with leading Swedish Companies including Ericsson and Volvo is accompanying the Swedish Foreign Minister to Sri Lanka it has been reported.
A high level Business Round Table Discussion will be held at Cinamon Garden Hotel on Monday (25) with participation of visiting members of the Swedish Companies and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.Swedish Foreign Minister also due to visit Jaffna on Tuesday(26).

Tamil National Alliance Controlled Northern Provincial Council Has Adapted A Resolution Seeking A Federal Solution For Tamil Problem
Sri Lanka's main opposition Tamil National Alliance(TNA) controlled Northern Provincial Council has yesterday(22) adapted a resolution by seeking a federal solution for the long remain political independence of Tamil Community in Sri Lanka.
The resolution was presented to the Northern Provincial Council by it's Chief Minister C.V Vigneshwaren .Only 19 Provincial Council members out of 38 members were present during the voting it has been reported.
The aim of the resolution adapted by Tamil National Alliance is to including it in the current constitution making process.
