A Smoke Inside The Cabin Has Caused A Sri Lankan Air Lines Flight To Returned To Bangkok Air Port
Due to a malfunction of the Air Conditioning System which resulted a smoke in the cabin has caused the Sri Lankan Air Lines Flight UL-891 flying from Bangkok in Thailand to Colombo Sri Lanka to returned it's base at Suvarnabhumi Air Port in Bangkok last night according to reports.
The Air Craft has landed safely at the Air Port with it's 263 Passengers and the crew the Sri Lankan Air Lines has announced.
According to the Air Lines a smoke inside the cabin was detected 19 minutes after the Flight's departure from the Air Port in Bangkok and the operational Air Craft crew has immediately taken steps to closed down the flight's Air Conditioning System and requested urgency to land the flight to the Suvarnabhumi Air Port .
Upon landing safely the pilot of the Sri Lankan Air Lines Flight has taken steps to disembark all passengers through a remote bay as a precautionary measure.The above mentioned flight later has departed from Bangkok after Air Craft engineers at the Bangkok Air Port had rectified the fault and cleared the flight to fly after an inspection it has been stated.
The flight had later arrived in Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port in the evening.

Ministry Of Health To Serve Fruits And Fruit Juices As Refreshments In Future Meetings Of The Ministry Institutions
The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine has decided to serve Fruits and Fruit Juices as refreshments by replacing short eats and soft drinks during the future meetings ,seminars,workshops and media briefings due to be held under the Ministry and it's institutions in future in view of avoiding spreading of non communicable diseases like Diabetes and High Blood Pressure according to Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala.
A Circular in this regard has been issued to all the institutions functioning under the Ministry Dr.Mahipala has stressed.
The decision to serve Fruits and Fruit Juices as refreshments will be implemented in other state institutions as well in near future he has further stated.

Train Services on the main line have been again delayed this morning due to the Container Truck damaged to the overhead of the Rail Bridge in Paliyagoda(In Western Province) the Department Of Railways have announced.
