An Indian National With A Stock Of Cannabis Mixed Babul Betel Leaves Arrested In Batticloe
The Batticloe Police have today(03) arrested an Indian National with 15 Grammes and 300 Mili Grammes of Babul Betel Leaves mixed with Cannabis in his possession.
The suspected Indian National was arrested at Batticloe Police Roundabout the Police have stated.
After being produced before Batticloe Magistrate Court the suspected Indian National was released on bail and the court has ordered him to appear before the court again on 18th of April.

Seven Persons Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Brawl Occurred At A Construction Site In Ambalanthota
Seven Persons were injured and hospitalized due to a brawl occurred between a group of Sri Lankan Workers and Chinese Workers at a Hotel Construction work site in Mirijjawila,Ambalanthota (In Southern Province) today (03)according to the Police.
The Brawl had occurred between two groups belonging to two contract companies the Police have stated.
Due to the incident Five Chinese Nationals and Two Sri Lankans got injured and admitted to the Hambanthota Hospital for treatment.
The Ambalanthota Police are conducting an investigations on the incident.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Has Granted Permission To Police To Detain 11 Foreign Drug Dealers Arrested Last Friday For Seven Days
The Colombo Fort Magistrate has granted permission to Police to detain 11 Foreign Nationals arrested with a haul of 101 Kilo Grammes Of Heroin while transporting from a Foreign Ship at the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka for seven days.
The Court has granted the permission following a request made to the court.
The Police Narcotic Bureau along with Sri Lanka Navy had last friday (01) arrested 11 Foreign Nationals including 10 Iranians and one Pakistani while transporting a haul of Heroin worth Rs.1100 million while transporting it from a ship owned by them.
