Police To Monitor Traffic Violations In Colombo City From Tomorrow(04)

The Police will monitoring the traffic violations in the Colombo City through CCTV Footage according to Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekere.

Accordingly those Motorists identify as violating traffic regulations will be informed on fines and the dates they should appear before courts regarding the violations through post  Police Media Spokesman has stated.

The Traffic Violation of the Colombo City will be monitored via CCTV Operational Room and 28 locations in the city will be monitored by using 105 cameras fitted it has been reported.All the visuals will be recorded automatically under the system and a team of police officers under the supervisory duty officer will be assigned for the duty for supervising traffic violations,

The government has decided to build a Petroleum Factory in Sri Lanka in view of providing Oil for lower prices according to Minister Of  Petroleum and Petroleum Gasses Chandima Weerakkody.



Through building such factory the price of oil will be decreased by 25% the Minister has stated.
