Eight Persons Were Hospitalized Due To A Wasp Attack At Saradiel Mountain

Eight Persons Including five males and three females were hospitalized today (25)due to a Wasp Attack occurred at Saradiel Mountain in,Uthuwankanda,Mawanella Area.

All injured persons are residents of Mawanella Area and they have faced the Wasp Attack during their visit to Saradiel Mountain it has been reported.

Around 120 Acres Of Land Have Been Destroyed Due To Sudden Fires Occurred At Kudagama Sanctuary And Giragama Mountain

The Sudden Fires occurred at Kudagama Sanctuary in Hatton , Giragama Mountain in Madagama at Palpola and  a Waste Deposit Site attached to Halwathura Urban Council in Ambalangoda had destroyed around 120 Acres of Land according to the authorities.

Accordingly around 100 Acres of Land belonging to Giragama Mountain and around 20 Acres belonging to Kudagama Sanctuary in Hatton had destroyed due to fires it has been reported.

Fire Brigade,Police and Residents have managed to douse the fire occurred at Kudagama Sanctuary the reports have stated.

A Teacher Was Arrested At Gampola Over Sexually Molesting A School Girl

A Teacher attached to a School in Gampola (In Central Province) was arrested by the  Gampola Police Station Officers in suspicion of sexually molesting a School Girl of the  same school.

The 52 year old Teacher was arrested according to a complaint lodged by the father of the girl at Gampola Police by stating the suspected Teacher  has sexually molested his Ten Year Old daughter.

Sri Lanka Customs Officers Have Arrested An Indian National With Rs.7.5 Million Foreign Currency

Sri Lanka Customs Officers have today(25) arrested an Indian National with undeclared Foreign Currency worth around Rs.7.5 Million in his possession.

The 44 year old suspected Indian National was arrested while he prepared to board a Qatar Air Ways flight which bound for   Sarjah.

Air Port Customs are conducting an investigations on the incident.
