Three Brother Of The Same Family Has Been Sentenced To Death Over An Abduction,Rape And Murder Of A Girl In Norton Bridge
The Nuwara Eliya High Court has yesterday(17) sentenced three brothers of the same family to death for an abduction,rape and murder of a girl in August 2009 at Alu Oya,Norton Bridge Area(In Up Country).
The suspects aged 24,32 and 35 were arrested by the Police regarding the crime on 03rd of August 2009 and they were sentenced to death by the Court after found guilty for the crime.

Heavy Traffic Reported From Town Hall Due To A Joint Opposition Rally
Heavy Traffic has been reported from Town Hall and surrounding areas in Colombo this evening due to the protest march and Public Rally in Hyde Park organized by the Joint Opposition Group in Parliament which supporting the former president Mahinda Rajapakshe.
The traffic lasted few hours according to Police.
