Four Burnt Bodies Have Recovered From A Residence In Dehiwala

The Dehiwala Police have today (16) recovered Four Burnt Bodies  from same family  including two children who have suspected as died due to an electrocution at a residence in Kawdana,Dehiwala(In Colombo District.

Dehiwala Police have recovered the burnt bodies per an information received this morning.Police have later identified the deceased as the Mother,Father,Daughter and Relative's Daughter.

 Dehiwala Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.

Sri Lankan Government Informed The Chinese Investors To Re Commence Colombo Port City Project

Sri Lankan Government has officially informed the Chinese Investors on last Monday(14)to re commence the work of controversial Colombo Port City Project  which has been temporarily suspended by the current government earlier  it has been reported.

After solving some of the controversial issues related to the Port City Project the Cabinet has given approval for the project on 09th of March the government has announced.

Two Persons Were Killed And One Injured Due To A Three Wheeler -Tipper Collision

Image result for ACCIDENT IN WORDTwo persons were killed and one person was critically injured and hospitalized due to a Three Wheeler -Tipper Vehicle collision occurred at Hallamalle Area on Thissamaharama-Matara Main Road(In Southern Province) yesterday(15) evening.

The injured Three Wheeler Driver was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Hambanthota Hospital in critical condition.

The Three Wheeler was travelling from Galle to Kataragama while the Tipper has transported sand from Monaragala to Matara when the collision has occurred according to the Police.

Hambanthota Police are conducting an investigation on the accident.

Around 9000 To 10,000 Tuberculosis Patients Are Being Reported Annually In Sri Lanka-Chest Physicians

Around 9000 to 10,000 Tuberculosis Patients are being reported annually in Sri Lanka at present according to local chest physicians.

Most of these Tuberculosis Patients are being reported from Western Province and according to the latest statistics available  49.5 tuberculosis patients are being reported per 10,000 local population they have said.

As there is an effective treatment known as "DOT' available for treating Tuberculosis Patients, people who are having the symptoms of the disease can receive treatment free of charge through 26 Government Chest Clinics situated throughout the island the National Tuberculosis Campaign has stated,

These facts have been revealed at a Media Seminar held yesterday(15) at the Health Education Bureau in Colombo regarding the "World Tuberculosis Day".
