Russian Life Saving Ship "Apron" Arrived At Colombo Harbor

A Life Saving Ship "Apron' belonging to the Russian Navy has arrived at Colombo Harbor on Thursday(03) for a goodwill tour.

The 89.7 Meter Long Russian Ship can carry 3400 Tonnes of Goods and the Ship Crew  comprising with 138 Russian Navy Personal.

The Life Saving Ship is scheduled  to leave  the Colombo Harbor on Saturday(05).

Six School Children Were Injured And Hospitalized As The Cab They Were In Turned Over In Cinnamon Gardens,Colombo

Six School Children were injured and hospitalized this evening as the Cab they were travelling in turned over near the Library Junction at Tennis Grounds in Cinnamon Gardens(In Colombo) during a Vehicle Parade organized by a leading School in Colombo.

The Injured Students were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.There were 13 school children inside the Cab when the accident  occurred according to the Police.

The Cinnamon Gardens Police are conducting an Investigations on the accident.

A Motor Bike Rider Was Shot Dead At Kochchikade This Morning

A person riding  a  Motor Bicycle has been shot dead by two unidentified gunmen traveling from another Motor Bicycle at Wela Kade Junction in Madampella ,Kochchikade(In Negambo) this morning.
 The two unidentified gunmen have fled away from the area after shooting it has been revealed.
 
A 41 year old Person has died due to the shooting and his body is now at Negambo Base Hospital according to the  Police.Kochchikade Police are conducting investigations on the incident.
