Sri Lanka Navy Have Recovered Bodies Of Five Fishermen Who Went Missing
The bodies of five fishermen have been found in the vicinity of Mid Sea during the search missions carried out by Navy with the assistance of Dvora Petrol Boats.
The recovered bodies of fishermen have been transported by Boat to the Galle Harbor.
Commuters Have Faced Difficulties Due To The Strike Action Of Private Bus Operators On Southern Expressway
Due to the strike action launched by Private Bus Operators from Maharagama to Galle and Matara on the Southern Expressway this morning a large number of commuters travelling through the Southern Expressway have faced enormous difficulties according to the sources.The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association has launched this strike as a protest against issuing of temporary licences to 10 new buses running through the expressway according to president of the Association Gamunu Wijeratne.
The Private Bus Operators are demanding the authorities to cancel the temporary licences.
Four Suspects Arrested And Remanded Over Alleged Financial Irregularities In CSN Channel Refused The Food Provided From Prison
According to the Welikada Prison Authorities all the four suspects who are in a special security cell in Welikada Prison have requested the permission to get all three meals daily from their respective homes since yesterday(01).
The Prison Department has approved the request made by four suspects to get their meals from home the authorities have said.
