Arrest Warrant And Red Notice Issued Against Former International Financial Head Of LTTE Have Been Removed

court order සඳහා පින්තුර ප්‍රතිඵලThe arrest warrant and red notice issued against the former senior leader and International Financial Head of LTTE ,Emil Kanthan have been removed by the Special High Court in Colombo today(01) .

The decision to remove arrest warrant and red notice against former LTTE Leader has been taken after his lawyers have been assured the court that their client Emil Kanthan would surrendered to the Court soon.

Two Buddhist Monks Who Protested Violently In Front Of Homagama Magistrate Court Have Been Remanded

Two Buddhist Monks who had been protested violently in front of Homagama Magistrate Court last week after the imprisonment of General Secretary Of Bodu Bala Sena Group Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero have been surrendered to the Homagama Police today(01) .

The surrendered Buddhist Monks have been remanded until 09th of February after being produced before Homagama Magistrate Court this evening.

According to the Police six more suspects are due to be surrendered tomorrow(02).Earlier the Homagama Magistrate has ordered the Police to arrest and produce all the suspects who had been protested violently in front of the court premises.

The wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksha ,Shiranthi Rajapakshe has given a statement to Presidential Commission On Inquiry this noon regarding an allegation leveled against her.

The Commission has recorded the statement from the wife of former President regarding how her former Media Coordinating Officer Milinda Rathanayake has been provided with a house belonging to National Housing Development Authority below the estimated value.
