Two Suspects Along With 400,000 Liters Of Coconut Oil Unfit For Human Consumption Have Been Arrested At Hasalaka
The Public Health Inspectors have arrested two suspects along with 400,000 Liters of Coconut Oil which found unfit for human consumption at Hasalaka Area while transporting it from Colombo to Mahiyanganaya (In North Central Province)through lorries according to Government Public Health Inspectors Union .
The stock of detained coconut oil has been found stored in bags which contains toxic chemicals the Union has said.

Five Essential Drugs Are Out Of Stock In Provincial Hospitals
Around Five Essential Drugs prescribe for High Blood Pressure and Heart Ailments are out of stock in most of the provincial hospitals including Padukke (In Western Province)Hospital these days according to Hospital Sources.
The Drugs Losarten,Amildopine,Beclate Capsules ,Enalpril and Clopidogrel are out of stock in these hospitals and as a result doctors are prescribing their patients to purchase these drugs from private pharmacies the sources have said.

Foreign Judges Will Not Participating The Investigation On Alleged Human Right Abuses Occurred During Final Phase Of War Between Armed Forces And LTTE- Co-Cabinet Spokesman
Foreign Judges will not participating and only the foreign components like Technology and Aid will be used for the investigation on alleged human right abuses occurred during the last phase of war between Sri Lankan Armed Forces and LTTE ,the Co Cabinet Spokesman and Minister of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has said today(28).

The former foreign minister professor G.L Pieris has stated recently that the President and Prime Minister have made different statements regarding the investigation on alleged human right abuses related to war between Armed Forces and LTTE.
