Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe Held Bi Lateral Talks With Swiss President
Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe had yesterday(23)met the Swiss President Johann Schneider Ammann at Davos -Switzerland where the World Economic Summit is currently underway and held bilateral talks with him according to reports.
During the talks the Swiss President Ammann has pledged to offer his country's support to strengthening Economic And Political Ties between Sri Lanka and Switzerland and to ensure the reconciliation among ethnic communities in Sri Lanka.

All Major C.T Scan Tests Performs At Colombo National Hospital Had Postponed Due To The Breakdown Of C T Scan Machine
All major C T Scan Tests due to be performed at the Main X Ray Unit attached to Colombo National Hospital have been postponed since two weeks due to the break down of C T Scan Machine there according to Government Radiographers Union.
Due to this situation C T Scan Tests of the large number patients who are in the five month long awaiting list at the Main X Ray Unit will be delayed further the Union has said.
The authorities have taken steps to do the C T Scan Tests of Emergency Patients through the C T Scan Machine fixed at the Neuro Surgical Unit Hospital sources said.

Investigations On The Embilipitiya Incident Has Been Handed Over To The CID
The Investigations on the Incident occurred at Embilipitiya between residents of a House and Police has been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department(CID) since yesterday(22) according to Inspector General Of Police(IGP) N.K Ilangakoon.
The Investigations on Embilipitiya Incident has been handed over to the CID per the instructions of Attorney General ,IGP has said.
Three Civilians and Four Policemen have been injured and hospitalized due to the clash occurred at a house at Nawa Nagara Road in Embilipitiya on 04th of December while one of the injured youth who fell down from Upstairs of the house later succumbed to his injuries.
The wife of the deceased has alleged her husband was beaten and pushed off the upstairs of the house while the Police Media Spokesman has said the deceased had jumped from the upstairs.
