Around 1.8 Million Tourist Arrivals To Sri Lanka Has Been Recorded In 2015
Around 1.8 million Tourists have arrived in the Island during last year(2015) and it's a 17.8% increase when compared to Tourist Arrivals of the year 2014 according to Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
A total number of 1,798,380 Tourists have arrived in the Island Last year when compared to 1,527,153 Tourist Arrivals recorded in 2014 the Authority has said.
India has been rated as first in the tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka in 2015 and China has rated as second and United Kingdom has rated as third.

Pakistan Prime Minister Has Arrived In The Island For An Official Visit
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in the island this evening for a three day official visit.
During his visit the Pakistan Prime Minister is due to sign several bilateral agreements with Sri Lankan Counterparts on various sectors.PM Sharif is also due to meet top government leaders including President Maithripala Sirisene,Parliamentarians,Business Leaders and Religious Leaders during the three day visit.

Government Will Work To Gain Massive Development To The Country This Year"Prime Minister Wikramasinghe
The Government will work to gain massive development to the country during this year and to extend that development from Western Province to Trincomalee(In Eastern Province) and Hambanthota(In Southern Province) to Jaffna (In Northern Province) Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has said this morning while delivering a special statement to the public from his official residence "Temple Trees"..
"The top priority of the government this year is to gain Economic and Social Stability like the Political Stability gained after last year's Presidential Election" Prime Minister has said.
Government is expecting to getting the support of those who are criticizing government's development activities as well during it's journey towards gaining massive development this year Prime Minister Wikramasinghe has further said.
