Huge Change Is Due To Be Made In Sri Lankan Judicial System To Minimize The Delays Of Court Cases-Justice Minister
A huge change will be made in Sri Lankan Judicial System within next year to minimize the delays of Court Cases according to Minister Of Justice Wijedasa Rajapakshe.
Accordingly measures like Increasing the Financial Value of cases submitted to Conciliatory Boards from Rs.250,000 to Rs.500,000, Cases filed in courts regarding violation of traffic laws to be solved with the help of Motor Traffic Department and Amending The Civil and Crimes Court Cases will be taken The Minister has said.

Persons In Hambanthota District (In Southern Province)Who Are Undergoing HIV/AIDS Test Annually Are On The Increase-Health Ministry
The Persons who are undergoing HIV/AIDS Test annually In Hambanthota District(In Southern Province)to check their HIV Status are on the increase according to the Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine .
Around 12,000 Persons have been annually visited Hambanthota District Hospital for HIV/AIDS Test the Ministry has said.
Those who visited Hamnathota Hospital to Undergo HIV/AIDS Test are doing so per the message conveyed by National Sexually Transmitted Diseases/AIDS Control Programme to the Public stating persons who are having Risky Behavior Pattern should go for a HIV/AIDS Test .
The Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala had instructed the Health Authorities in Hambanthota District to study the situation and take immediate measures to control the situation.
Legal Cases Have Been Filed Against 521 Holders Of Premises In Western Province Which Maintaining Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places -Health Ministry
During the three day Special Dengue Mosquito Control Programme launched in Western Province from Last Monday(21) to Wednesday (23) Notices have been issued to 3066 holders of premises in the province which having Risky Environment on breeding dengue mosquitoes and legal cases filed against 521 holders of premises which maintaining dengue mosquito breeding places according to Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine.
This special Dengue Mosquito Control Programme has been launched in Western Province as the majority of Dengue Patients reporting in the country are from that Province.

A Heavy Traffic At Godagama Interchange Exit Of Southern Expressway Has Created A Long Queue
As a large number of Motorists are being using the Southern Expressway to travel down south (Southern Sri Lanka) during this Holiday Season a heavy traffic had prevailed for few hours this morning at the Godagama Interchange Exit of Southern Expressway.
As a result a large queue has been seen at the Godagama Interchange Exit of Southern Expressway and the Police have advised motorists to use Pinnaduwa and Kokmaduwa Exits to avoid traffic.
