The Inspector General Of Police had transferred Ten High Rank Police Officers with immediate effect.Accordingly Six Senior Superintendent Of Police(SSP) and four Assistant Superintendents have been transferred the Police Department has said.

Two Pakistani Nationals have been arrested over allegedly stealing Rs.11 million worth Gems and Jewellery from a Store in Colpetty (In Colombo) yesterday(17).According to the Police The Two Pakistanis have entered the Gems and Jewellery Shop yesterday evening and render the Shop Owner unconscious by using a Liquid Substance and robbed the Store.
The Colpetty Police have arrested the two suspected Pakistanis at two Lodges in Colombo..,
