Prime Minister Wikramasinghe Has Informed The Parliament Government Will Not Sign CEPA With India-Also Criticized GMOA For Spreading Lies On CEPA

Image result for cepaPrime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has informed the Parliament today(09) Government will not sign Controversial Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement known as CEPA with neighboring India as claimed by Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA).

However Government will enter into Economic Technical Pact with India Prime Minister has stressed.

Prime Minister has severely condemned the Government Medical Officers Association for misleading both it's members and Public by spreading false and baseless statements claiming Government is planning to sign CEPA with Indian Government under different name."GMOA has also spreading lies that through CEPA unemployed Indian Professionals will get job opportunities in Sri Lanka and locals will loosing jobs due to this "Prime Minister has said.

Prime Minister has also said a large number of professionals in the country including Doctors both experienced Specialists and young ones have supported President Maithripala Sirisene to become president on the Presidential Election held on 08th of January this year."However those Doctors who are holding higher positions in GMOA including it's President didn't support current president's campaign and fought to protect former President Mahinda Rajapakshe's Regime.The Whole country knows this" He has further said.

Minister Of Health,Nutrition ans Indigenous Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has informed the Parliament on Monday that government has decided to make HIV/AIDS Test compulsory for New University Entrants due to the threat of spreading HIV/AIDS among youth as a result of the risky behavior pattern prevails among majority of them.
