Around 126 Indian And 36 Sri Lankan Fishermen Are Due To Be Released By Tomorrow(09)
Around 126 Indian Fishermen in Sri Lankan Custody will be released tomorrow(09) in view of Hindu Festival "Deepavali" which falls on this Tuesday(10) according to Minister Of Fisheries Mahinda Amaraweera.
Indian Government too due to release around 36 Sri Lankan Fishermen tomorrow who are in their custody the Minister has said.
Both Sri Lankan and Indian Authorities have arrested these fishermen while fishing in each others territories.

Due to this large scale fraud the Government has lost a sum of more than US Dollars 19 Million the Minister has said.
An Investigation is already underway to identified the culprits behind this fraud the Minister Ranathinge has further added.
An Army Officer Attached To Army Camp At Ampara Has Committed Suicide By Shooting Himself
An Army Officer attached to Konduwatawana Army Camp in Amapara District(In Eastern Province) has committed Suicide this morning by shooting himself from his official fire arm according to the Police.
The deceased Army Officer was a 27 year old resident of Mawathagama Area in Kurunagala District(In Eastern Province).
According to Ampara Police the reason behind the Army Officer's suicide still not yet revealed.

Sluice Gates Of 12 Main Reservoirs Have been Opened To Prevent Overflowing Of Water
The Department Of Irrigation has taken steps to Open the Sluice Gates of 12 out of 73 Main Reservoirs in the Country to prevent overflowing of water due to the heavy showers prevails in these days.
According to the Department the Sluice Gates Of 12 Reservoirs situated in Six Districts namely ,Puttalam,Anuradhapura,Kurunagala,Batticloe,Hambanthota and Puttalam have been opened so far.
Due to the heavy showers prevailing in most parts of the country these days water levels of many reservoirs are on the rise according to the authorities.
