Cabinet Has Approved A Memorandum To Re Enforce The Circular 46/90 Which Considering HNDA Course As An Alternative Qualification To A B.Com Degree
Student who are following HNDA Course find difficulties to get job opportunities in Public Sector as the Public Administration Circular 46/90 of 1990 which considering the HNDA Course as an alternative qualification to a B.Com Degree has not yet been implemented.
The Cabinet Decision to recognize the HNDA Course as a Degree came in the wake of public criticisms made against Government over the recent police attacks against protesting HNDA Students at Ward Place,Colombo.
Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapakshe To File Legal Action Action Against Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka For Defamatory Statement He Made Against Minister
Minister Of Justice Wijedasa Rajapakshe has said today(06) he will take a legal action against Former Army Commander and leader of the Democratic Party Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka by claiming Rs.500 Million as damages for the Defamatory Statement he made against Minister by accusing Minister Rajapaksha has taken bribes to cover up Avant Garde Issue.
Addressing a Media Briefing in Colombo today Justice Minister Rajapakksha has said he advised his lawyers to file a court case against Field Marshall Fonseka by claiming Rs.500 Million as damages for the defamatory statement made against him yesterday .
Field Marshal Fonseka has yesterday accused Minister Of Justice Wijedasa Rajapaksha has taken bribes to cover up Avant Garde Floating Armory Issue.Field Marshal had also accused Minister Vajira Abeywardena for backing the Minister Rajapaksha regarding this issue.
