The Bench Of Judges of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice K.Sri pavan has today issued these notices after considering a fundamental rights petition filed at the Court by one of the suppliers the Noble Resources Private Limited who has applied for the tender of supplying coal to Norochchalai Thermal Power Plant.
Through the petition the petitioner has argued that Government has been awarded the Tender for supplying Coal to a Company Call "Swiss Singapore" which requested Rs.101 Million for supplying a Metric Tonne of Coal while the petitioner "Noble Resources Private Limited "has requested less than that amount Rs.90 Million per one Metric Tonne Of Coal,

Sri Lankan Flight UL-230 From Kuwait To Colombo Has Landed At Mattala Air Port
The Sri Lankan Flight UL-230 flying from Kuwait to Colombo has landed to Mattala International Air Port at Hambanthota(In Southern Province)this morning instead of landing at it's original destination Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port due to a heavy mist it has been reported.
However the said Sri Lankan Flight is scheduled to be flying to it's original destination Katunayake International Air Port later today.

The Person Who Found Responsible To The Rape And Murder Of Five Year Old Girl Has Been Further Remanded
The Minuwangoda Magistrate has today (02) ordered to remand the suspect Saman Jayantha who has proved as responsible for rape and murder case of five year old Seya Sadewmini of Kotadeniyawa Area through DNA Test, until 16th of November.
Saman Jayalath found as responsible for rape and murder case of the girl through a DNA Test done at Genetech Institute in Colombo.
Five Year old Seya Sadewmini was sexually molested and strangled to death on 13th Of September a day after she went missing from her home.
