CID Had Questioned Two Key Members Of The Previous Government Over Financial Frauds
The Criminal Investigations Department(CID) had questioned the former sports minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and monitoring MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardena yesterday(25) for more than three hours over the allegations leveled against them on financial frauds it has been reported.
The two key members of the previous government have been asked to be present at CID next week also for further questioning on the allegations.Bribery Commission also had received bribery allegations against the said MP'S.

A Severe Shoratge Of Anti Biotic Drugs And Injections In Government Hospitals
Around 50 Anti Biotic Drugs and Injections including 35 essential ones are out of stock these days in Government Hospitals island wide and the Medical Supplies Division according to Health Sources.Various life saving drugs and drugs prescribe for severe illnesses are among the drugs which are out of stock Health Sources have revealed.
Due to this severe shortage of Antibiotic Drug,s patients in Government Hospitals are advised to be purchase these drugs from private pharmacies the sources have added.
The main reason behind this drug shortage is delay of calling tenders to purchase these drugs and the Director Board of the State Pharmaceutical Corporation is responsible for it the general secretary of the Government Pharmacists Union Ajith Thilakaratne has said.
