The Government Medical Officers Association(GMOA) has today (10th) announced that they are withdrawn their members from all Medical Transfer Boards with immediate effect due to the Political Influence occurred in Doctors Transfers.Under this GMOA is withdrawing their members from all four Medical Transfer Boards namely Intern,Post Intern,Specialists and Annual Medical Transfer Boards with effect from today according to the Assistant Secretary of GMOA Dr.Sankalpa Marasinha."GMOA will not take any responsibility on irregularities occurred in Medical Transfers in future" he stressed. GMOA is represented by Two Members in each Transfer Board.
