Police Commission To Take Disciplinary Action On 10th Of December Against Police Officers Those Responsible For Attacking HNDA Students
The Disciplinary Action against the Higher and Lower Rank Police Officers who were identified as responsible for attacking HNDA Students during a Protest Campaign held on 29th of October in Colombo will be taken after 10th of December according to National Police Commission.
There's a special meeting scheduled to be held regarding police attacks on HNDA Students on 10th of December and after the meeting a Disciplinary Action will be taken against Police Officers from Chief Superintendent to Higher Rank Officers who were identified as responsible for attacking HNDA Students the Commission has announced.

Human Rights Commission Has Recommended Police To Pay Compensation For HNDA Students Who Were Injured Due To Police Attack
The Human Rights Commission has yesterday(04) announced the Police Officers are responsible for the attacking Students of Higher National Diplomas In Accountancy(HNDA) during the protest staged by them near University Grants Commission at Ward Place,Colombo on 29th of October and by doing so Police have violated the human rights of HNDA Students.
Due to this situation Human Rights Commission has recommended the Police to pay Rs.25,000 compensation to the female HNDA Student who was brutally attacked by a police officer during the protest and currently receiving treatment at a Hospital and Rs.15,000 compensation each for 8 other HNDA Students who were wounded due to police attack.
The Commission has also recommended to take disciplinary action against the police officers who were responsible for attacking students.
The Police Commission has also launched an investigation on the Police Attack against HNDA Students and Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has also appointed a Committee headed by
Dr.B.M.S Batagoda to investigate on the attack.

Former OIC Of Narahenpita Police Station Has Been Arrested By Bribery Commission Officials
The former Officer In Charge(OIC) of the Narahenpita Police Station(In Colombo) M.G.U.D Gunathilake who has been transferred recently to Ampara Police Headquarters for normal duty has been arrested today(04) by the Bribery Commission Officials over accepting Rs.2.5 Million as a bribe.
The OIC of the Crimes Division in Narahenpita Police has been arrested on 27 of November for the same bribery case.

Two new judges namely a Supreme Court Judge and an Acting Chairman of the Appeals Court have been sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisene yesterday(03).
