Another 150 Passangers Stranded In Malaysia Brought Back To Sri Lanka
Another 150 Sri Lankans stranded in
Malaysia due to Corona pandemic had brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (30) through a Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight.
The Passangers who had been brought back from Kuala Lumpur International Airport comprising of Sri Lankans employed there and Students involved in higher studies in Malaysia.
They have undergone "PCR "tests at the Katunayake International Airport after their arrival .
Malaysia due to Corona pandemic had brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (30) through a Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight.

brought back 193 Sri Lankans stranded in Dubai ,United Arab Emirates due to the Corona pandamic ,to Sri Lanka this evening (30).
The Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight carrying these Passangers had arrived at Katunayake International Airport from Dubai International Airport it has been reported .The majority of these Passangers are employed in Dubai .
After their arrival they along with Flight Cabin Crew undergone "PCR "Tests to check their Corona status at the Airport and later they were transported to few Hospitals around until receiving their test results .

Five Persons Arrived From Oman Had Tested Positive For Corona For
- Five Corona positives had been reported this evening (30) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from Sri Lanka to 2047 according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly All 05 positives reported today were Sri Lankans arrived from Oman and undergoing quarantine at quarantine Centers.
At the moment 325 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals.
1441 Persons Not Wear Masks In Public Places Directed To Self Isolation Yesterday (29)
A total of 1441 persons had been caught
by the police yesterday (29) over not wearing a face mask in public places and directed them for self isolation in their homes according to the Police Department.
These people were arrested and punished under the quarantine law Police have stated .Further raids are scheduled to be carried out during this week in search of persons who are not wearing face masks in public places .
Meanwhile Police had caught 1280 persons in Western Province during last Sunday and released them after strictly advising them it has been reported.

All Day Care Centers To Be Reopened From 06 th of July
All day care centers throughout the
island will be allowed to reopen in full scale with effect from 06 th of July coincides with the opening of Schools according to the Government Information Department.
At the moment these Centers are being opened up to 75 percent.
These Centers are being advised to follow all corona prevention health guidelines to prevent spreading of Corona virus it had been announced.

179 Sri Lankans Stranded In Maldives Brought Back To Sri Lanka Yesterday (29)
A Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight
carrying 179 Sri Lankans stranded in Maldives due to the Corona pandemic had been brought back to Sri Lanka yesterday (29).
The flight carrying these Passangers had arrived at Mattala International Airport from Male International Airport in Maldives yesterday .
All the Passangers in the flight along with cabin crew had undergone "PCR "Tests to check their corona status at the Airport and afterwards they were transported to nearby hotels until receiving test results .

Nine Persons Had Been Injured Due To A Vehicle Collision At Southern Expressway
Nine persons had been injured ,Three in critical condition and admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital due to a Motor Car -Van Collision Occurred at the entry between Baddegama and Pinnaduwa in Southern Expressway this morning (28).
The incident occurred when a Motor Car travelled from Colombo to Galle had collided with a van when attempting to pass the van it has been revealed. As a result the Motor car had also collided with the security fence .

No More Curfew From Today (28)-Public And Institutions Are Being Advised To Follow Corona Prevention Health Guidelines Further
The all Island Curfew imposed in the
country since 20th of March with different time tables to prevent the spreading of corona virus is scheduled to be lifted fully from today (28) according to the President's Media Unit .
The Islandwide curfew was first implemented on 20 th of March until 24 th of March and then implemented islandwide with a different time table .
Since 13 th of June up to yesterday (27)the curfew has been implemented from 12 in the midnight until 4 a.m .
Meamwhile public and all government and private institutions are being advised to follow Corona virus prevention health guidelines until the Corona pandemic situation is over according to the Health authorities.

Central Bank Has Approved A Loan Worth Rs.27.9 Billion With A 06 Month Grace Period For 13.861 Businesses Affected Due To Corona Restrictions
Central Bank of Sri Lanka has recently
approved Rs.27.9 billion worth loan for 13,861 Businesses island wide which are badly affected due to Corona pandemic restrictions for a 4 percent interest rate , with a 06 month grace period and 24 month repayment period in view of promoting economic activities in the country Central Bank has announced.
Out of this loan nearly Rs.15 billion worth loans issued to over 7000 business by 24 th of June through licensed banks in the country the Bank has announced.
The approved loan is being issued under the phase one of the "Saubhagya Covid -19 Renaissance programme "launched by the government it had been revealed .

National. Dengue Control Programme Had Launched A Mosquito Control Programme In Six Districts And MC Area As 75 Percent Of Construction Sites In The Island Identified As Dengue Mosquitoe Breeding Grounds
More than 75 percent of the construction sites located in the island are being identified as Dengue Mosquito Breeding grounds according to a new survey conducted by the National Dengue Control Programme .
According to the Dengue Control Programme a large number of Dengue mosquitoe larvae found in Water storage tanks ,Concrete slabs and the surface of Concrete foundation where water is collected in construction sites .
As there's a great risk of spreading Dengue fever among workers attached to Construction sites and public around these sites ,Dengue Control Programme had launched a Dengue Control Programme in High risk Zones identified in six districts and A Municipal Council area from 25 th of June until 01 st of July .
Accordingly this Dengue Mosquito Control Programme is being implemented to destroy Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places in costruction sites at high risk zones attached to Colombo ,Gampaha ,Kalutara,Kandy ,Galle and Matara Districts and Colombo Municipal Council area with the participation of Health workers along with tried forces personal and Police.
