Govt.Reduced The Price Of Muriate Of Potash Fertilizer

 Government had reduced the Price of a 50 KG Sack of Muriate Of Potash known as "Bundi Fertilizer  by Rs.1000 with effect from today (15) according to the Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera.


Accordingly the price of a 50 KG sack of  Muriate of Potash will be reduced from Rs.15,000 to Rs.14,000 with effect from today.

Chinese Oil Company To Begin It"s Operations In Sri Lanka

 Chinese Company "Sinopac" is due to begin importation and disrtibuting of oil in Sri lanka with effect from today (13) according to the State  Minister  Dilum Amunugama.


The Chinese company will begin it"s operation in Sri Lanka accordance to the agreement signed with Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO). the Minister had stated.

Police Arrested Three Persons Over Steeling Drones

Mirihana Police had  last Thursday(13) arrested three persons over stealing 03 light Drones from a trade stall at Mirihana,Nugegoda on 20 th of June.


The three suspects who are reidents of Mawathagama,Pannipitiya,and Nugegoda areas were ex employees attached to the trade stall according to the Police.

An Urban Council Worker Died After The Wall Collapsed On Him

 A 48 year old Employee  attached to the Panadura Urban Council had died after a wall belongs to the Panadura Urban Council had  collapsed on him yesterday (13).


Accordingly the deceased had faced this incident whilst cleaning the garbage site near the wall it has been revealed.He had died after been admitted to the Panadura Base Hospital.
