Deputy Principal Was Injured Due To A Gun Shooting

 One of the Deputy principals of the Dharmashoka Collage in Ambalangoda(Southern Province ) had been injured due to a gun shooting incident at Randombe area in Ambalangoda last morning  (26).

Two unidentifed gunmen arrived from a Motorcycle had opened fire towards the Deputy Principal who was riding his Motorcycle at the time of the incident according to the Ambalangoda Police.The injured who is a resident of Migettuwatte in Balapitiya area and the son in law of a gang leader Kosgoda Suji had ridden the Motorcycle to the Police amidst injuries it has been revealed.

The cause behind the incident has not yet been revealed .

A Person Was Arrested With A Stock Of Ileagally Imported Chocolates

 The Officers Attached to the Gampaha District Investigations Unit of the Consumer  Affairs Authority had arrested a person impossession of a stock of   Chocolates imported ileagally  at a house in Negambo Area  yesterday(26).

The stock of  Chocolates taken into       

was  worth  Rs.5  million it has been reported.The suspect is due to be produced before Negambo Magistrate  Court .

A Person Had Drowned In Sea Whilst Bathing Dogs

 A 55 year old person has drowned last evening (24) whilst bathing his dogs  in the sea area of   Chilaw (Colombo District )

 The deceased who was a resident of Mayikkulama area in Chilaw   had faced this incident whilst bathing his dogs  in the sea it has been reported.

Accordingly Sathosa had reduced the prices of Sathosa Milk Powder 400 G by Rs.50 to Rs.1030 ,The price of a Kilo gramme of Dried chilies by Rs.45 to Rs.1350,A Kilo Gramme of Soya Meat by Rs.10 to Rs.660,Red Lentils by Rs.10 to Rs.325,A Kilo Gramme of White sugar by Rs.04 to Rs.239    and a Kilo Gramme of ]Big Anions by Rs.06 to Rs.129 it has been announced.
