Price Of Milk Tea Cup To Be Reduced By Rs.10

 The price of of a Milk Tea will be decreased by Rs.10 with effect from tomorrow(27)due to the price reduction of Milk powder according to the All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association.

Accordingly the Price of a Milk Tea cup will


reduced from Rs.100 to Rs.90 the Association has stated.

The price of a 01 Kilo gramme pack of Milk Powder will be reduced by Rs.200 and 400 gramme pack by Rs.80 with effect from tomorrow the Milk Powder Importors Association has stated.

A Bus And A Three Wheeler Destroyed Due To A Gun Shooting

 A  Bus and a Three Wheeler parked in front of a Garage at Mabulgoda area in Homagama (Colombo) had been completely destroyed due to a gun shooting incident occurred in the wee hours of this morning (26)according to the Homagama Police.


Two unidentified  persons arrived in a Motorcycle had fired gunshots from a T-56  firearm and done the damage it has been reported.The cause behind the gun shooting incident  has not yet been revealed.

Homagama Police are conducting an investigations on the incident .

Four Persons Drowned In Sea, Were Rescued

 Life saving guards attached to the Panadura Police had rescued four persons belongs to a same family who were drowned whilst bathing at  Panadura sea coastal area(Western province) last evening 25).



The drowned persons had  been drifted away by rough sea waves for around 50 meter distance it has been reported.However life saving guards attached to Panadura police had rescued  them and admitted to the Panadura hospital for treatment.
