A Person Was Aarrested With Six Swords At Kalutara

 The Police Officers attached to the Kalutara South(Western Province) Police had arrested a Person with Six Swords and a Motor Car in his possession at Kalutara today (13) during the mobile search operation conducted in Panadura and Kalutara areas .Over 1100 suspects were arrested in Western province - Lankan.org

Another three persons who were with the suspect had fled away from the area according to Police .

Twelve hour long Wqter Cut To Be Imposed On Saturday

 Eight Divisions of Colombo District will face a twelve hour long water cut from 10 p.m on Saturday to 10 a.m on Sunday due to an essential repair work of a pipe line  it has  been announced..Water cut for Kotte area - www.dailytimes.lk

Large Scale Financial Fraud Suspect Thilini Priyamali Was Taken To WTC For Investigations

The Criminal Investigations Department(CID) has today (12) taken  Thilini Priyamali who had been arrested and remanded over involved in financial fraud worth more than Rs.250 million to 04 places including the World Trade Center for an Institutional investigation .Mobile phone confiscated from Thilini Priyamali - Asia Today
