Police Environment Unit To Take Action Against Those Spitting On Roads

Police authorities had informed the Police Environment Unit to enforce the law strictly against those who are spitting on roads and spitting after chewing Betel leaves with effect from today (08).

The senior superintendent of Police (SSP) Roshan Rajapakshe had instructed the Police Environment Unit to enforce the law against those who are spitting on roads to prevent getting Roads dirt and to prevent the spread of Corona it has been revealed ,

Those who are spitting on roads can be arrested and produced before the court under the penal code according to the authorities .

28 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (08)

Another 28 Corona Deaths had been reported in the Country today(08)Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,533 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 15 males and 13 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 21 Corona Positives were over 60 years of age and 07 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .

757 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (08)

A total of 757 Corona positives had been reported in the Country today (08) ,Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 569,928 according to Epidemiology Unit .
